New Orleans
The Sazerac House is one part micro-distillery, two parts interactive cocktail experience, mixed with spirited events and a dash of rich New Orleans culture.
Standing proudly in a historic building at the corner of Canal and Magazine, and just a short stroll from the original 1850s era Sazerac Coffeehouse, The Sazerac House will be an immersive exploration of the spirited culture of New Orleans. Starting out in the French Quarter in the booming 1800s, this unforgettable sensory experience will take visitors on a journey through the history of cocktail culture in New Orleans, reconnecting past traditions with the exciting tastes and techniques of today and tomorrow. Discover the methods used in distilling Sazerac Rye Whiskey, take part in handcrafting world famous Peychaud’s Bitters, learn about the enchanting tale of rum, master the art of making America’s original cocktail - the Sazerac®, and enjoy one-of-a-kind special events steeped in the unique character of the city we call home.
Visit us to experience distinctive tastes and traditions worth carrying forward. Where the past, present and future come together—over cocktails, of course.
Cheers.
